The Experts Behind Your Dream Home
David Partridge
Founder & CEO
Charleston native, David Partridge, is a commercial general contractor and residential builder. He discovered at an early age his love of working with his hands to create something lasting and beautiful from raw materials.
He gleaned much of his knowledge from his grandfathers one of whom was an engineer and the other a commercial land and real-estate developer. He absorbed their knowledge in many areas of construction and fabrication. He grew up loving construction, carpentry, and machine operation. He learned skills of craftsmanship and dedication. He has a love for fine craftsmanship and detail.
He enjoys spending time with his family and helping out in the community. When he is not building, you can find him fishing, golfing, and camping with his family.
Brooks Vaughn
Operations Manager/Partner
Brooks Vaughn moved to the Lowcountry when he was 9 years old from Wilmington, NC.
After high school, he pursued a career in Culinary Management. Holding numerous positions for over 20 years, he gained experience in leadership and building lasting relationships. Brooks worked side by side with David in the early years of Peartree and a spark was ignited for his love of construction.
Brooks married his beautiful wife Melanie in 2015, and they have two children, Wayland and Lydia. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and anything outdoors.
Amanda Pecora
Controller
Amanda Pecora is our Controller at Peartree Homes. After graduating with a degree in marketing and management, as well as being a licensed real estate broker, she brings over 10 years of managerial and administrative experience to this growing team.
Amanda skillfully manages Human Resources, benefits, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly billing. Amanda uses her exceptional organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in a constantly dynamic work environment.
Amanda has been a resident of Summerville since she and her family moved down from Durham, NC in 2017. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and son. She has been a longtime, avid, gluten-free foodie, and thoroughly enjoys exploring the Summerville farmers market.
Jim Howe III
Superintendent

Ella Bachmann
Office Administrator
Ella Bachmann is our office administrator. Ella is a marketing graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she as well minored in social media.
With experience in several customer service and hospitality industries, she has developed strong customer service and administrative skills that help keep daily operations running smoothly. A Charleston native, Ella has lived in the area for most of her life and has a deep appreciation for the city’s charm.
She enjoys crafts, spending time with friends and family, and playing pickleball.
